A: NMHU's Softball Prospect Camp provides a unique blend of skill development and college recruiting exposure. For young athletes, it's a chance to refine their softball talents, guided by college-level coaches. For the coaches in attendance, it is an opportunity to scout for promising players.
Q: Who is eligible to attend the camp?
A: The camp is open to all high school softball athletes. We welcome aspiring players from all levels and backgrounds to join us for an unforgettable experience.

A: On our campus in Las Vegas, New Mexico, from September 23rd to 24th

A: Benefit from expert coaching to develop softball skills and forge connections with college softball programs, including NMHU and other conference schools, opening doors to exciting future opportunities.
Q: Who are the coaches and staff involved in the camp?
A: Head Coach Forshee will lead the camp, supported by a staff of coaches from nearby schools and schools within our conference.

A: The camp fee is $90, covering admission to all activities on both days, along with a personalized report detailing your strengths and weaknesses based on our comprehensive day 2 metric testing.

A: If you're coming from out of town, here are some recommended travel accomodations
Q: What is the camp schedule and itinerary?
A: We will begin day one with a campus tour and informational seminars on admissions, scholarships, and our softball program. We will also be attending an NMHU football game from our Future Cowgirl Tent where camp attendees can meet some of our softball stars. Day two offers a full agenda with drills, metric testing, scrimmages, and a concluding Q&A session.
Q: What should I bring with me to the camp?
A: Be sure to bring all your softball equipment, a notebook, and a water bottle.
Q: Can parents or guardians attend the camp with their child?
A: Parents are welcome to attend as spectators, as long as they do not interfere with camp activities
Q: Will there be opportunities for college recruitment during the camp?
A: Coaches in attendance will actively keep in touch with prospects they are interested in recruiting.
